How Affirmations Can Change Your Life

Affirmations are statements we repeat over and over to influence our subconscious mind to think a different way. We're already affirming all day; we just don't realize it.

Examples: "I'm so poor," "life is so hard," "it's not fair other people have better lives than me." All because it's a belief you have, doesn't mean it's true. I know it might seem obvious, but your current situation can easily change just by thinking differently (Law of Assumption). Therefore, you don't have to be poor anymore, or think life is hard. You've just been repeating the same affirmations repeatedly and that's what you keep experiencing.

So let's change it.

How to Use Affirmations Effectively

This isn't hard. All you have to do is pick a few statements you like and repeat them either out loud or in your head daily. Hell, you can even write them down in a journal and read it every day, too. I do all three.

My favorite is this: "My life is amazing, and it keeps getting better and better."

I've received so many good results from this: job getting easier, making extra money from said job, no more stress in my day-to-day life, and every day is peaceful. I can't explain too well, but it's like everything is just so much easier now, because my life is amazing, and it keeps getting better and better.

It sure has Hell wasn't before, but I've programmed my subconscious mind to think otherwise.

But What If I Don't Believe It?

The beauty of this is that you don't have to. You do not have to believe your affirmations, just repeat them, without opposing thoughts, and they will gradually come true.

Your subconscious mind doesn't know what's true or false. It's not going to argue with you. It only picks up what you're saying and changing your reality to reflect your words. You can literally act delusional all you want, and it won't know the difference. How awesome is that?

As for opposing thoughts, these are just thoughts coming from your ego to keep you in your comfort zone; it doesn't like change.

You might say, "I'm so rich," and it will go, "No you're not."

Ignore it! Just repeat louder until it shuts up, and it will. And at some point, it will disappear into thin air. I no longer have opposing thoughts because my subconscious mind has finally accepted my affirmations as truths, thus blocking the ego's attempts to sabotage me.

Which Affirmations Do I Choose?

I recommend creating your own so it's personal, but there's nothing wrong with using other people's affirmations as well.

They can either be past, present, or future. You have full reign over them. I use all three, but I like present because it feels like it's happening right now.

"I am so happy I received money today."

"I am so happy to be living as a rich person."

"I can't wait to become a millionaire."

Anything you want! You don't even have to feel anything while saying them. But you know you've found the right one when it brings a smile to your face, like my amazing one. You can always Google some, too.

I recommend checking out Sammy Ingram, Rita Kaminski, and maleeka, is my guardian angel. on YouTube. They go more in depth in this.

Thanks for reading, and good luck, my Lovely Raven.
